The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development
When 167 world leaders came together at a United Nations Summit Meeting on September 25, 2015 in New York, they reached an historic agreement that represented the largest ever commitment to make the world a better, fairer and more equitable place for everyone. By formally adopting
17 Global Goals more commonly referred to as Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs),
those world leaders empowered and compelled all of us, from the private and public sectors all the way down to the general public, to play our part in fighting vital issues that include poverty, inequality and climate change.
G HWA is fully committed to playing our part in helping to achieve these SDGs and create a better world.
